TractGard^® is nutritional support for the equine GI tract, helping to hydrate, support digestion and is an excellent electrolyte source for horses who may be prone to stomach upset. This supplement is a pelleted mix consisting of mineral salts, electrolytes, yeast, linseed meal, Butyric Acid and Zinc Oxide. Designed to promote proper function of the digestive tract, TractGard^® also supports proper digestion and overall bowel health.  

TractGard^® contains key ingredients, which help to maintain a healthy intestinal tract. Two of the Active Ingredients, Diamond V^® Yeast and Linseed Meal work together to support proper weight management and healthy digestion by adding fiber and protein to the diet.  Calcium Carbonate helps maintain proper stomach pH and may reduce occasional gastric distress. Added electrolyte salts encourage an increase in water intake and help replace lost fluid. ButiPEARL™ Z, an ingredient mainly composed of Butyric Acid and Zinc Oxide, helps to maintain proper gut flora in the digestive tract and provides nutritional support for the gastrointestinal lining.  

TractGard^® is beneficial when fed to horses who are difficult drinkers, by aiding in reducing occasional loose stools due to environmental stresses, like long road trips, competitions and/or changes in diet. TractGard^® nourishes natural healthy bacteria in the intestinal tract and may reduce the possibility of digestive colic, making it an ideal product to add to your horse's daily regimen.
